Platts to discontinue some third-party sugar futures data

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue some of its third-party sugar futures data, effective Aug. 31, 2022.

This follows a discontinuation in the publication of the data since April 2021 by the third-party publisher, the Intercontinental Exchange.

The relevant symbols are:

SPB0102 - Sugar No. 11 ICE Futures US Spread Mo01/Mo02

SPB0203 - Sugar No. 11 ICE Futures US Spread Mo02/Mo03

SGBFQ00 - Sugar No. 11 ICE Futures US Total Open Interest

SGBFT00 - Sugar No. 11 ICE Futures US Total Volume

SGA0102 - White Sugar ICE Futures Europe Spread Mo01/Mo02

SGA0203 - White Sugar ICE Futures Europe Spread Mo02/Mo03

The symbols are published in the Platts price database and on Platts Agriculture Alert page 3210.
