Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will add minimum and maximum loading quantities for its FCA France Granular Urea assessment, effective August 29. 2024.
Platts will include a minimum loading quantity of 1,000 mt and a maximum of 15,000 mt in its FCA France Granular Urea assessment (FGUFA04). This amendment reflects industry feedback regarding the typical urea cargoes sizes discharging at the port of La Pallice.
Market information about larger and smaller parcels will continue to be used, but would be normalized back to the 1,000-15,000 mt range.
