Platts discontinues eight US REC assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued eight US Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) price assessments, effective Aug. 1.

Platts has decided to discontinue these assessments due to a lack of liquidity in these markets. However, please note Platts has decided not to discontinue the assessment of Vermont REC Tier 1 Previous Year, following market consultation.
