Platts discontinues Algoa Bay delivered bunker assessments Aug. 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued its daily delivered Algoa Bay Marine Fuel 0.5% Bunker (MFALG00)and Marine Gasoil (AMGAA00) assessments Aug. 1 2024, following a period of sustained bunkering inactivity at the port.

Assessments impacted:

Marine Fuel 0.5% Bunker Algoa Bay MFALG00 (daily) and MFALG03 (MAvg)

Marine Gasoil Algoa Bay AMGAA00 (daily) and AMGAA03 (MAvg)

These assessments appear in Bunkerwire, Platts Global Bunker alert page PGB 1860 and Platts Shipping Alert page SHP 1220.
