Effective August 1, 2016, S&P Global Platts will change the minimum cargo size for US M1 et ethylene (AAOSR00) and M2 ethylene (AAOSS00) and M1 polymer grade propylene (PHAXJ04), M2 polymer grade propylene (PHAAA00) and refinery grade propylene (AAIKS00) spot assessments to 3 million lb.
Currently, the minimum cargo size is 5 million lb.
The change of cargo size was proposed on May 23, 2016, and the decision was published on July 1, 2016.
The spot ethylene assessments appear on PCA 870, PCA 541 and PCA 301. Spot propylene assessments appear on PCA 311, PCA 541 and PCA 309.
