Platts clarifies SAF ETJ update frequency and tariffs application

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is clarifying the following regarding its sustainable aviation fuel ETJ cost of production prices:

• Platts may update its SAF ETJ cost of production prices. These updates, when needed, will reflect changes in fixed costs and depreciation whenever there are changes to the prevailing Process Economic Program values released by S&P Global Commodity Insights.
• The cost of production prices for SAF ETJ that incorporate Brazilian ethanol may also consider tariffs when they are in place. If there are any changes to these tariffs, Platts will revise the value of Brazilian ethanol accordingly and inform the market through the publication of additional subscriber notes.

• SAF ETJ Cost of production w/ credits USGC $/mt (ESTFG00)
• SAF ETJ Cost of production w/o credits USGC ¢/gal (ESTFF00)
• SAF ETJ Cost of production w/o credits USGC $/mt (ESTFH00)
