SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to launch Middle East 92 RON gasoline MOPAG netback

Following a proposal published on June 24, 2016, Platts confirms that it will launch a Middle East netback assessment for 92 RON gasoline, with effect from September 1, 2016.

This netback, which will follow the same methodology applied to other MOPAG netback assessments, will be published under the heading "FOB Arab Gulf ($/barrel)" and be labeled as "Gasoline 92 unleaded".

In line with Platts' existing 95 RON MOPAG netback, this new value will be calculated on a netback basis from FOB Singapore 92 RON unleaded assessments, using a freight rate for 30,000 mt tankers. Freight rate assessments are published daily in Platts Clean Tankerwire.
