Platts to move UK hot-rolled coil assessment to Thursday publication

Following market feedback, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is to move the publication of its weekly UK hot-rolled coil assessment to Thursdays, effective Sept. 1, 2022.

The HRC DDP West Midlands assessment is currently assessed weekly on Fridays.

The change will affect assessment code STHWM04.

The assessment is published in Steel Business Briefing, Steel Price Report, on page PMA1263 of Platts Metals Alert, Platts Dimensions Pro and in the Platts price database.
