Effective August 1, Platts will reflect in its Northwest European fuel ethanol barge assessments bids and offers which specify any one of the three five-day loading periods available within the full loading range. The front five days of the loading period (front-end), the middle five days of the loading period (mid-window) or the back five days of the loading period (back-end) will each be reflected in the assessment. Platts will also stop publishing and reflecting in its assessment processes full window bids and offers where the buyer retains the option to nominate loading dates at any point in the loading period. Platts fuel ethanol assessments will continue to reflect the value of product loading between three to 15 days (on Mondays and Tuesday) or five to 15 days (from Wednesdays to Fridays) from the day of publication. Please send to comments to guilherme.kfouri@platts.com, sean.bartlett@platts.com, tim.worledge@platts.com and simon.thorne@platts.com with a CC to pricegroup@platts.com.
