Platts to publish Americas crude averages on PGA

Platts proposes to start publishing monthly averages for its Americas crude assessments on Platts Global Alert with effect from November 1, 2011, in line with a planned revamp of all Americas crude pages.

Platts has previously published monthly averages for Americas crudes in Oilgram Price Report, and in Platts Market Price database.

As part of this expanded coverage, Platts will start to publish calendar month averages and/or pipeline month averages for all daily assessments where they are not already published.

As announced in June, Platts will publish midpoints to three decimal places for averages, where they are not already published to three decimal places.
