SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to amend MTBE cargo size for FOB Singapore assessments

Platts plans to amend its Asian MTBE assessments to reflect cargoes of 2,000 mt, effective September 4, 2015. Platts currently assesses daily FOB Singapore MTBE based on a cargo size of 2,000-3,000 mt.

Platts will continue to accept and report bids, offers, and other market information for different sizes of cargoes reported by the market. For assessment purposes, such cargoes may be normalized to reflect the value for a 2,000-mt parcel.

Platts will consider all comments received and will make comments not marked as confidential available to the public upon request. For written comments, please provide a clear indication if comments are not intended for publication by Platts for public viewing.
