SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to introduce lifetime rolling RIN codes

Please note that effective July 27, Platts is introducing unique identifying codes to all biofuels RINs (Renewable Identification Number) assessments, for each calendar year, supplementing existing RINs codes. This decision follows a period of industry feedback that started May 19. Under the new method, Platts will introduce supplementary lifetime identifying codes such as 2015D6 for 2015 ethanol RINs to offer an alternative solution for tracking the assessments historically. The new codes will appear daily on PBF pages 201 and 301, as well as in Biofuelscan. Please send comments and feedback to americas_ags@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com.
