Effective July 26, 2013, Platts will launch a new assessment for crude oil trading in Houston. The new assessment, called Light Houston Sweet (LHS), reflects the value of light sweet crude flowing into Houston, Texas from both the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford and Cushing, Oklahoma.
Daily assessments will appear in Platts Oilgram Price Report (OPR), the Crude Oil Marketwire (COM),Oil Arbitrage Wire and on PGA pages 210 and 214.
The monthly average for this crude will reflect pipeline cycle and will reflect a monthly average from starting from the 26th of the month to the 25th of the next month.
The Monthly assessment reflecting July-August will be run on August 26, 2013.
