SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to discontinue FOB Thailand ethanol assessment

Following a proposal note released on July 7, 2016 and a consultative period for review and feedback, Platts will discontinue its FOB Thailand ethanol assessments effective October 3, 2016, including the daily assessment (AAWZM00), and weekly and monthly averages (AAWZM04, AAWZM03).

The discontinuation of these assessments is proposed due to changes in typical spot market trade flows, as participants rarely export fuel-grade ethanol from Thailand anymore.
