SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts replaces 90-day CIF ARA value in associated publications

Effective July 23, 2018, S&P Global Platts has updated its methodology and replaced the assessment in several tables and publications in light of a decision to discontinue its 90-day thermal coal CIF ARA assessment.

Platts has replaced the 90 day CIF ARA assessment price (CSABG00) with the 15-60 day CIF ARA assessment price (CSARM01) in the following publication tables:

1) Steam Coal Prices ($/mt) table in Power in Europe

2) Europe ($/MMBtu) table in LNG Daily

Platts also replaced month-ahead and quarter-ahead components in Platts Generating fuel cost comparisons with the month-ahead and quarter-ahead financial contracts (CSAM001, CSAQ001).

Platts Generating fuel cost comparisons are published in European Power Daily and European Gas Daily, on European Power Alert pages EP0502, EP0503 and in Market Data category EE.
