SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to make no changes for Tetco M-3, Transco Zone 5

Platts recently carried out a market consultation on proposals to change the methodology specifications for monthly and daily surveys for the Texas Eastern, M-3 and Transco, Zone 5 delivered natural gas price points.

The consultation period ended on July 22 and Platts has subsequently reviewed market participant responses. As a result, Platts has decided NOT to change the current methodology specifications for either location.

The Texas Eastern, M-3 methodology for the daily and monthly surveys will remain as follows:

Deliveries from Texas Eastern Transmission beginning at the outlet side of the Delmont compressor station in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, easterly to all points in the M3 market zone, except for deliveries to Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line at Lower Chanceford.

The Transco, Zone 5 delivered methodology for the daily and monthly surveys will remain as follows: Deliveries from Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line on the 30-inch, 36-inch and 42-inch diameter lines from the Georgia/South Carolina border to the Virginia/Maryland border. Deliveries into Transco at the Pleasant Valley receipt point near Fairfax, Virginia, from Dominion's Cove Point LNG terminal are not included.

Platts will continue to monitor these and other locations for possible methodology changes and new assessments.
