Singapore (Platts)--20Jul2018/836 am EDT/1236 GMT S&P Global Platts will publish premiums for Worldscale percentage assessments and dollar per ton prices for dirty Suezmax vessels to factor in the loadings from Iranian ports. The new premiums will come into effect from September 1, 2018.
Platts understands that freight rates for ships loading from Iranian ports have seen significant divergence from other regional loadings, especially for lifting crude oil from Kharg Island.
The following premiums for Suezmax assessments will be published:
* Persian Gulf-East 130KT Worldscale * Persian Gulf-East 130KT Dollar per ton * Persian Gulf-UK Continent 140KT Worldscale * Persian Gulf-UK Continent 140KT Dollar per ton * Persian Gulf-Mediterranean 140KT Worldscale * Persian Gulf-Mediterranean 140KT Dollar per ton
