Comments sought by August 23 on USGC 3%S change

Platts is seeking comments on a proposal to lower the combined aluminum and silicon content for its US Gulf Coast 3%S assessment to a maximum 100 ppm, from the current 130 ppm.

Platts is proposing to implement this change on January 3, 2011.
