Platts proposes to add minimum loading quantity for FCA France granular urea assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to add minimum and maximum loading quantities for its FCA France granular urea assessment, effective Aug. 29, 2024.

Platts proposes to include a minimum loading quantity of 1,000 mt and a maximum of 15,000 mt in its FCA France granular urea assessment, with the symbol FGUFA04. This amendment reflects industry feedback regarding the typical urea cargoes sizes discharging at the port of La Pallice.

Market information about larger and smaller parcels would continue to be used but would be normalized back to the 1,000-15,000 mt range.
