Nomination standards for new build vessels in EMEA jet fuel Platts MOC

S&P Global wishes to clarify that any jet fuel cargoes offered subject to a newbuild or refurbished vessel during the EMEA Platts Market on Close assessment process should be able to meet standard nomination practice.

Platts reflects jet fuel cargoes delivered on newbuild and refurbished vessels where relevant guidelines as stated in JIG EI 1530 are met or the seller is able to meet an alternative means of compliance.

Platts reserves the right to normalize newbuild vessels offered in the MOC process for reflection in the final assessment.

Platts assessments reflect product meeting the parameters detailed in its published methodology, with a requirement that oil must reflect broadly merchantable quality.
