S&P Global Platts will shift the time stamp for its Middle East Marker LNG assessments to reflect the prevailing value at 16:30 Singapore time, effective August 16, 2019.
The change from the current time stamp of 16:30 London time will better align the time stamp with Asia LNG trading hours to reflect trading activity for LNG cargoes delivered to ports in the Middle East. The basis ports for the Middle East Marker (MEM) are Mina Al Ahmadi, Kuwait, Jebel Ali, UAE and Ruwais, UAE. This comes on the back of a proposal note published June 17, 2019
