Platts updates Mexico natural gas transportation rates

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, performed its quarterly update to the natural gas transportation rates used in the calculation of the Mexico daily natural gas prices.

Platts used the current rates in pipeline tariffs for the transportation routes, the July 2024 bidweek price for the Tennessee, zone 0, Waha, and SoCal Gas source locations, and the July 11, 2024, Mexican Peso to US Dollar spot exchange rate.

Platts also updated the source location for Aguascalientes from Tennessee, zone 0 to Waha. The changes will be effective July 12.
