S&P Global Platts wishes to clarify the metallurgical properties reflected in its in-warehouse EU, FOB China and CIF Japan assessment processes for silicon metal.
These silicon assessments reflect the grade 553 specification, which contains: 98.5% silicon, maximum 0.5% iron, maximum 0.3% calcium, 0.2-0.5% aluminum.
