Effective immediately (July 12, 2012), Platts has added the following specifications to its US Gulf Coast naphtha and heavy naphtha assessments:
For full range material (listed as naphtha): Initial Boiling Point, 110F min; Final Boiling Point, 360F max; Color, 20 min; API, 56 min; RVP, 5 max; N+A, 40 min; Nitrogen, 2 ppm max; Sulfur, 200 ppm max; Lead, 200 ppb max. For USGC heavy naphtha: IBP, 180F min; Color, 20 min; API, 54 min; RVP, 3 max; N+A, 40 min; Sulfur, 200 ppm max; Lead, 200 ppb max. Platts specifications include merchantability for all assessments.
