SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts discontinues Spanish week-ahead power price assessments

London (Platts)--11Jul2018/1124 am EDT/1524 GMT S&P Global Platts discontinued its weekly Spanish week-ahead electricity assessment and the corresponding monthly average assessment on May 28, 2018.

Following industry consultation, Platts took the decision in light of the continuing shift in market dynamics towards exchanges in Europe and the increased price transparency provided by exchanges.

The affected codes which are listed below were removed from Market Data category EE and dynamic symbols in Market Data category PE on July 11, 2018.
