S&P Global Platts proposes to change the name of the Southwest Europe LNG Marker, SWE, to the Mediterranean Marker (Med), effective September 16, 2019.
This would be to more precisely reflect the geographical area covered by the price assessment. The definitions of the Mediterranean Marker would remain identical to the SWE as stated in the LNG methodology document, which can be found at: https://www.spglobal.com/platts/plattscontent/_assets/_files/en/our-methodolo gy/methodology-specifications/lngmethodology.pdf
Platts is seeking feedback on this proposal by July 24, 2019.
Platts invites all questions and feedback to LNGeditorialteam@spglobal.com and pricegroup@spglobal.com.
