London (Platts)--9Jul2018/1024 am EDT/1424 GMT S&P Global Platts has expanded the list of ports reflected in its Market on Close assessment process for Mediterranean low sulfur fuel oil cargoes, effective July 9, 2018.
Platts previously published bids and offers into the following five locations: Milazzo, Malta, Gibraltar, Algeciras, and Ceuta, as detailed in a subscriber note available here:

Following extensive market feedback Platts will now also publish bids and offers for the following ports in the MOC: Lavrion, Vassilikos, Agioi Theodori, Eleusis and Barcelona.
Platts has, effective July 9, 2018, started publishing bids and offers for these ports in the MOC, in addition to the five ports which were already reflected.
The locations will be added to eWindow functionality at a later date. In the interim, Platts would expect market participants wishing to bid or offer into one of the new ports via the eWindow software to select the generic 'Port' hub and specify the name of the port in the Terms, Quality and Conditions (TQC) box.
This followed a note in which Platts proposed a larger list of 10 ports to be added: Lavrion, Atherinolakkos, Vassilikos, Agioi Theodori, Eleusis, Beirut, Aliaga, Barcelona, Livorno, and Naples.
