SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts adds Spanish PVB, Italian PSV gas assessments

London (Platts)--9Jul2018/1246 pm EDT/1646 GMT Effective July 9, 2018, S&P Global Platts has expanded both the daily Spanish PVB and the Italian PSV natural gas price assessments.

For the Spanish PVB market, Platts adds Month-ahead+1, Season-ahead and a Calendar year+1 contracts to the current gas assessments, which are published on European Power Alert page 0823, on Natural Gas Alert pages 0056, in Platts Market Data category EG and in European Gas Daily.

For the Italian PSV market, Platts also adds a Calendar year contract to the existing assessments, which are published on European Power Alert page 0822, on Natural Gas Alert page 0850, in Platts Market Data category EG and in European Gas Daily.

The initial assessments are published in Eur/MWh with the following currency and unit conversions: pence/therm, $/MMBtu and Eur/Gj.

In addition, Platts has also started publishing corresponding spark spreads and clean spark spreads with 45% and 50% efficiency for the Spanish Month-ahead+1, Season-ahead and the Calendar year+1 contracts and the Italian Calendar year contract, which are published on European Power Alert page 0829 and 0827 for Spain and page 0853 and 0232 for Italy, on Natural Gas Alert page 0059 and 0060 for Spain and page 0853 and 0854 for Italy.
