SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts publishes new Kuwait crude official selling prices

Following the launch of new official selling prices (OSPs) for Kuwaiti crude oil, Platts has now started including these in its list of published crude oil OSPs, starting with prices released from July 1 2016 onwards.

Platts is also making historical data for these prices available for February 2016 and any other OSPs released since then.

Platts is publishing these OSPs as differential prices. Outright prices will also be published, based on relevant outright data for the month in question.

In February 2016, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation released five new OSPs for European and US destination cargoes, in addition to its existing KEC Eastern destinations OSP.

For the European market, KPC now issues OSPs for FOB Sidi Kerir, FOB Kuwait to Mediterranean destinations, and FOB Kuwait to NWE destinations, pricing as a differential to Dated Brent.

For the US market, KPC now issues OSPs for FOB Kuwait US destinations and Ex-ship delivered US Gulf Coast destinations, pricing as a differential to ASCI.
