SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes ending FOB Thailand ethanol assessments

Platts is seeking feedback on a proposal to discontinue the FOB Thailand ethanol assessments effective October 3, 2016, including the daily assessment (AAWZM00), and weekly and monthly averages (AAWZM04, AAWZM03).

The discontinuation of these assessments is proposed due to changes in typical spot market trade flows, as participants rarely export fuel-grade ethanol from Thailand anymore.
