Platts changes location, volume specifications of FOB China wire rod assessment

Following industry feedback and to reflect changing market dynamics, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has changed the location and volume specifications of its FOB China wire rod assessment (SB01261), effective July 6, 2022.

The assessment has been renamed Wire Rod Mesh Quality FOB China, from Wire Rod Mesh Quality China Export FOB Shanghai. Its basis location and volume specifications have been revised to Bayuquan and 300-1,000 mt respectively.
