SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts discontinues European nickel, zinc assessments

Following a period of industry feedback, S&P Global Platts has discontinued two monthly price assessments for the European zinc market and two weekly prices from the European and Russian nickel markets, due to a lack of liquidity and changes in product flow and buying patterns.

The final monthly zinc assessments were published Wednesday, June 17, 2021 and the final weekly nickel assessments were published Friday, July 2, 2021, and the discontinuation was effective July 6, 2021.
