Subscriber note: Platts to assess Chinese magnesium on Thursdays

Platts will change the day of assessment for its two weekly China magnesium price assessments to Thursday from Tuesday, effective August 2. The two assessments -- 99.8% ingot FOB China and Die Cast Alloy FOB China -- will be published on Thursdays in Platts Metals Alert, and Metals Week will reflect a Thursday date except in the event of holidays. The revision is to align the China assessment schedule with the weekly Rotterdam and US magnesium assessments, which are also done on Thursdays.
