Platts to hold Asia LNG methodology workshop in India Aug. 6

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will hold a methodology workshop in India assessments on Aug. 6.

India has embraced LNG benchmarks to price large parts of its upstream gas market and increasingly in its LNG import and regasified LNG markets.

The country's ambition to increase the share of natural gas to 15% of its energy mix means it will likely have to sustain its position as a major player in the spot international LNG cargo market.

Given the robust demand environment Indian markets have been innovative in pricing their purchases.

That makes understanding the energy price benchmarks and how they are assessed very vital.

Join our experts during this workshop to discuss the following topics:

  • Overview of price benchmarks on LNG and Oil markets
  • Review of price methodology
  • Overview of current market trends in LNG and Oil markets
