Platts seeks feedback on LNG carrier age specifications for LNG freight assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is seeking feedback on LNG carrier specifications for its LNG freight assessments.

Platts has observed differing views on the representative age range with regards to TFDE and 2 Stroke LNG carriers.

However, given indications from market participants about the age range of carriers that are representative of market activity, Platts is now seeking to understand whether the assessments should be assessed using a 15-year age limit for TFDE and 2 Stroke LNG carriers.

Platts invites questions, comments and feedback by July 20.
