Platts amends Western Europe sugar assessment

S&P Global Platts has removed the UK country assessment (SGAEF04) from the Western Europe regional sugar assessment (SGBBB00), effective July 5.

This follows a consultation note which was launched on November 27, 2020 and extended to April 30, 2021, which can be found here: https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/012921-platts-extends-consultation-period-on-european-sugar-assessments

This move means that the Western Europe assessment will only comprise the average of the France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany country assessments.
