SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts revises recycled-PET flake specifications

Effective July 5, 2019, Platts has revised the specifications for its recycled-PET flake spot assessments for the UK and Northwest Europe.

New specifications are as follows:

Assessment IV value Other specs Recycled-PET Flakes 0.72-0.78 Colorless hot-wash flake from 100% post-consumer recycled content.

No other PET specifications have been changed.

The recycled-PET flake spot assessments are published on the Platts real-time Petrochemical Alert page PCA 506, in Polymerscan, Platts Market Center and in Platts Market Data under the symbols listed below.
