Platts discontinues prilled urea CFR India price assessment effective July 3

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued the CFR India prilled urea (FPUIA04) price assessment, effective July 3, 2025.

This decision reflects the lack of an active spot market for this location and specifications.

The last publication date for the assessment will be June 26, 2025. Platts will continue to provide comprehensive coverage of India CFR prices through regular news and market commentaries.

The CFR India prilled urea price assessment is currently featured in the Nitrogen Market Report, Platts Connect, and the Platts price database under the symbol FPUIA04.

Platts originally decided to discontinue the prilled urea CFR India price assessment on April 28 in a subscriber note available here.
