Platts discontinues four rice assessments from July 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued four rice price assessments across its Americas coverage, effective July 1.

This follows a period of sustained trading inactivity for the products and regions covered by the price assessments concerned.

Platts has discontinued the following price assessments:

The daily price assessments appeared in the Rice Daily PDF and the weekly price assessments appeared in the Rice Weekly PDF. The assessments also appeared on Platts Connect.

The last dates of publication of the weekly and daily price assessments were June 26 and June 30, respectively.
