Platts adds 'close' value for Americas ammonium nitrate price assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has updated the methodology for its Americas ammonium nitrate price assessment, effective July 1.

The Ammonium Nitrate FOT Tampa FL $/st Wkly (FANTB04) assessment is now assessed as a "weekly single-number close" value along with a standardized range $1/st above and below the assessed close value.

The underlying methodology remains unchanged. Platts wishes to clarify that symbol FANTB04 is assessed and will continue to be assessed on FOT basis.

This assessment is currently published in the Fertecon US Fertilizer Report, and is also available on Platts Connect.
