S&P Global Platts launches the following new freight assessments for liquid petrochemical products, effective July 1, 2019.
The assessments are launched based on market feedback and observation of relevant shipping routes and cargo sizes.

The following existing assessments are being changed from a cargo size range of 5,000-12,000 mt, to a cargo size range of 10,000-12,000 mt, based on market feedback indicating that larger cargo sizes are more common on these routes.
The change is effective from July 1, 2019.

The following existing assessment has been changed from a cargo size range of 2,000-3,000 mt to a cargo size range of 10,000-12,000 mt, based on market feedback indicating that a larger cargo size is more common on this route.

S&P Global Platts liquid petrochemical assessments refer to assessed freight rates for benzene, toluene, xylenes, methanol, MTBE, styrene monomer and MEG, unless otherwise specified.
