SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts discontinues some dry freight Panamax assessments

S&P Global Platts has discontinued a range of Panamax dry bulk freight assessments for bauxite, iron ore, coal and grains routes, originating in the Atlantic basin and the Black Sea, effective Monday, July 1, 2019.

The discontinuation follows an extensive period of illiquid spot trading on the routes, following industry consultation.

The decision on the discontinuation was announced on March 25, 2019.
