Platts discontinues some Asian aromatics freight assessments

S&P Global Platts has discontinued the following daily Asian aromatics freight assessments, effective July 1, 2019.

The assessments were discontinued to reflect changes in freight routes as well as changes in cargo sizes, based on market consultation and observation.

Indonesia-East China (SM) 3,000 mt AAVCM00

Indonesia-Korea (BTX) 3,000 mt AAVCN00

The discontinued assessments were previously located on Platts Petrochemical Alert (PCA) pages 641, 642, 643 and 644.

Platts has also amended ports and product references on its aromatics freight pages.
