The daily assessments are published on Spot freight to/from Southeast Asia (PCA642), Spot freight from Middle East (PCA643) and Spot freight from India (PCA644) have been changed to weekly assessments to be published on Fridays.
The change in publication frequency was done based on market feedback and observation that weekly assessments would better reflect the changes in the affected freight rates.
Platts first proposed the frequency change on February 18, 2019 (https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/021819-platts-to-change-aromatics-freight-assessments-to-weekly-frequency).
