SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to change cargo size for US spot ethylene, propylene assessments

Following a period of feedback after a formal proposal published May 23, 2016, as well as a previous public consultation, Platts has decided to change the minimum cargo size for US M1 ethylene (AAOSR00) and M2 ethylene (AAOSS00) and M1 polymer grade propylene (PHAXJ04), M2 polymer grade propylene (PHAAA00) and refinery grade propylene (AAIKS00) spot assessments to 3 million lb effective August 1, 2016.

Currently, the minimum cargo size is 5 million lb.

The spot ethylene assessments appear on PCA 870, PCA 541 and PCA 301. Spot propylene assessments appear on PCA 311, PCA 541 and PCA 309.
