SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts excludes taxes of Brazilian assessments

Platts has begun publishing on July 1, 2015, its monthly Brazilian domestic steel assessments without the federal and state taxes (IPI 5%, ICMS 12%-18% and Pis/Cofins 9.25%) previously included. All new data collected for the price assessments will be normalized to a tax-exclusive basis. The historical data histories for these assessments will continue to include the taxes prior to the change.
