Platts has updated the defined specifications for its US Gulf Coast heavy naphtha and standard naphtha assessments effective July 1, 2013 The specifications were reviewed following an extensive analysis of the impact of lighter shale crudes on the domestic reformer-feed naphtha market, the original notification was made on May 28. The updated specifications are as follows:
