Platts will begin publishing the calendar month average of front-month NYMEX light sweet crude on Friday, July 1, 2011.
This CMA is used as the basis for Platts Canadian pipeline crude, Bakken Blend crude and Alaska North Slope crude assessments.
This calculation will be labeled WTI CMA (1st month).
On July 1, Platts is assessing August injection crudes using the August WTI CMA.
The CMA will appear on pages 401 and 171, and will appear in the Crude Oil Marketwire, Oilgram Price Report and North American Marketwire.
