Platts to change timestamps for US thermal coal daily OTC assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will change the timestamp of 26 US thermal coal daily over-the-counter price assessments to 4:30 pm ET from 2:30 pm ET, effective July 27, 2022.

The change was proposed in a subscriber note published on June 7, which can be found here: https://www.spglobal.com/commodityinsights/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/060722-platts-proposes-new-timestamps-for-us-thermal-coal-daily-otc-assessments.

The change aligns the timestamps of the daily OTC coal assessments. The assessments will continue to be published on a daily basis in Platts Coal Trader on fixed pages GC0210 Platts Coal Trader US Midwestern Physical Coal Assessments, GC0220 Platts Coal Trader Western US Coal Assessments, and GC0200 Platts Coal Trader US Eastern Basin Coal Assessments, as well as in the Platts price database under the following codes:
