Platts will close Americas MOC early on July 2

Platts has decided to close its Americas oil Market on Close assessment processes at 1:30 pm Eastern Time on Thursday, July 2, 2009 due to the observance of the US Independence Day holiday on Friday, July 3.

Platts has also decided to close its MOC processes in the Americas at 1:30 pm ET on the business day prior to the following holidays: Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

The holiday schedule on Platts.com will be updated to reflect this change for 2009.
